Claudius is one of the more versatile services

public services, healthcare ( NHS ), defence,
retail, hospitality, automotive, aerospace,
chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical,
engineering, printing, food, FMCG, transport,
warehousing and distribution.
Claudius completed a BEng
Manufacturing Engineering
sandwich degree course in 1994. As part
of the course he wrote a dissertation on
'The Application of
Statistical Techniques in Process Improvement'
based on the work he'd carried
out for his sponsoring company on his industrial
placement year after being trained in Six
Sigma techniques.
Following graduation, Claudius worked in
Operations Management before taking up an
internal consultancy role. He was trained
in Lean
Manufacturing by the Shingijutsu
Group ( world renowned group
of lean manufacturing consultants made up
of former members of the 'Toyota Autonomous
Study Group' - the original developers of
the 'Toyota Production System' ).
Claudius has effectively utilised Total
Productive Maintenance ( TPM )
since 1996 in achieving significant productivity
gains and cost reductions. In wishing to
become a 'TPM
Expert', he wrote a dissertation
on TPM whilst studying for a part-time Masters
in Business Administration
in 1998. This involved carrying out extensive
research into organisations that had successfully
implemented TPM and examining what lessons
could be learnt from their experiences.
Claudius' six sigma, lean and TPM consulting
expertise and client-centred approach have
enabled him to successfully facilitate the
achievement of major
cost reductions, lead time reductions and
quality improvements within
a range of manufacturing and service sector
organisations.
Claudius also holds a Post
Graduate Certificate in Education (Post
Compulsory Education & Training).
This qualification certifies his competence
in designing courses, training and assessing.
He is also a Six
Sigma Master Black Belt.
In 2002 Claudius attained the status of
Certified
Management Consultant ( CMC ) by
demonstrating to the 'Institute
of Business Consulting' through
a portfolio of evidence, references, presentation
and interview that he met their 37 consultancy
and management competency requirements.
The 'Institute
of Business Consulting' is
the custodian of professional standards
for management consultants. Services and
manufacturing consultants who have achieved
the CMC standard have the necessary experience
and knowledge required to deliver impartial,
professional and cost-effective interventions
with the interest of the client at the centre
